CalcMate is an offline-first calculator and converter app developed by SempaQ. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data, if any, is collected when you use CalcMate.
Data We Collect
CalcMate does not collect any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. We do not require account registration, login, or any personally identifiable information.
The following data stays only on your device and is never transmitted to us:
- App preferences (theme, language, haptic settings)
- Decimal places setting
- Calculation history (stored locally via AsyncStorage)
Third-Party Services
CalcMate uses the following third-party services. Please review their respective privacy policies:
Google AdMob
CalcMate displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including device identifiers and usage data.

The Currency Converter feature fetches live exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API. Only your IP address may be visible to the API as part of the HTTP request. No personal data is sent.

CalcMate does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is a general-purpose utility tool and does not target children specifically.
Data Retention
Since CalcMate does not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing to retain or delete from our end. All local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in your device settings.
