Terms of service

By downloading, installing, or using the sempaq.com website or any SempaQ app (including CalcMate, Tactix, Dottle and Sowly), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps for their intended purpose on devices you own or control.

Please don't reverse-engineer or decompile the apps (except where the law allows), resell or sublicense them, use them for anything unlawful, or interfere with how they run.

Some apps offer an optional one-time purchase (for example CalcMate Remove Ads, Tactix Pro, Dottle Pro or Sowly Pro). Purchases are processed by Google Play under its terms and refund policy. A purchase unlocks the features described in the app at the time of purchase and is tied to your Google account; use Restore purchase in the app after reinstalling. Coins in Sowly are earned by playing, cannot be bought with money, and have no cash value.

The free versions show ads. Optional rewarded ads give an in-app benefit (such as an extra hint) and are never required to keep using the app.

Photos you choose for features like Custom Marks (Tactix) or Custom Box (Dottle) stay on your device and are not uploaded to us. Only use images you have the right to use.

The branding, logos, designs, and software behind our apps and site belong to SempaQ. The results you produce with our calculators and tools are yours to use freely. The tools themselves stay ours.

Our apps rely on a few third parties: Google AdMob (ads and consent), ExchangeRate-API (currency rates in CalcMate), and Google Play (distribution and purchases). Your use of those features is also subject to their terms. See our privacy policy for how data is handled.

The services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Calculations, conversions and game results are for general information and entertainment only — please don't rely on them for professional, financial, medical, or legal decisions. We can't guarantee the apps will always be accurate or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SempaQ isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the services, including reliance on any result a tool produces.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are reflected on this page with a new version number, a new "Last updated" date and a short changelog. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the revised terms.
